Manuel Dengler (*1989, Stuttgart) is the artistic director of the Brandenburger Festspiele where he is responsible for the strategic development of the Festival and the conception of its artistic projects. In addition, Manuel Dengler is the chief conductor and artistic director of the Brandenburger Festspielorchester.

As a conductor, violist and cultural manager, he views his work as a synthesis of his concert activities and entrepreneurial practice. To develop this approach, he completed a master’s degree in «Communication & Cultural Management» at Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen. Prior to this, he completed his musical studies at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart.

From 2016 until 2018 he was CEO of the Berlin based agency: even.aducated, which was focused on digital communication in the cultural sector. Manuel Dengler is also founder and member of the executive board of the music and media production company: NeckarTon. Clients of the company include: the Vienna Philharmonic, Christoph Eschenbach, numerous concert halls, festivals and artist agencies. As a co-producer, he was responsible (among other things) for the award-winning cinema documentary “Hello, I am David!” a documentary about the concert pianist David Helfgott.

In 2011 he founded the Stuttgarter Symphoniker, which he also managed for many years.

Additionally, he is internationally active as a guest conductor and concert organizer in various projects and with many renowned orchestras.
